Ming-Yin Shen, MD, PhD
Dr. Ming-yin Shen is the Chief of Surgery Department in China Medical University Hsinchu Hospital in Taiwan, and also an assistant professor of National Tsing Hua University. She graduated from the medical school of National Yang-Ming University and obtained a PhD in National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. Meanwhile she is pursuing Executive MBA in National Taiwan University.
Dr. Shen’s main clinical and research interests are minimally invasive surgery and advanced endoscopic therapy for colorectal disease. She completed her surgical residency training in Veterans General Hospital Taipei and has been to National Cancer Center, Tokyo and Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore for observation. She was the Chief of Colorectal Surgery Section in National Taiwan University-Hsinchu Branch and started her current carrier since December of 2018. She was also a proctor of da Vinci Robotic Colorectal Surgery in Taiwan since 2022, as well as the board member of ELSA (Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia), and APELS (Asia Pacific Endo-Lap Surgery Group).
