Dr. Rooma Sinha has a flair for minimal access gynecological surgeries and has a reputation for performing complex surgeries both amongst her patients and colleagues. Experience of over 29 years in Minimal Access gynecological surgery. Pioneered Robotic surgery in India since 2012, today is the most experienced ROBOTIC surgeons for benign gynaecological conditions in the country. Recently published a simple reproducible technique “Sinha Apollo Technique- Robotic hysterectomy”. She pioneered 3D printing for performing precise myomectomy and was recognised among the top 20 innovations at the Vattikuti Symposium (Humans in the cutting edge of robotic Surgery) in Miami, 2022.
As the Director of the Minimal Access & Robotic Surgery (MARS) Fellowship program at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad and the prestigious Vattikuti Fellowship in Gynecology Robotic Surgery she believes in constantly learning while mentoring young surgeons. Published over 50 papers and chapters in Books and National & International Journals. She has EDITED two books on FIBROID UTERUS (2019, 2020). Distinction of being invited as a lecturer to almost every part of India as well as in almost all continents of the world.
